Who we are:
The Tufts University Tufflepuffs were founded in 2009 and gained international fame in 2010 for our second-place finish at World Cup IV. Since then, we've grown into a nationally ranked Tournament Team, which competes regularly against other Quidditch teams in Boston and beyond.
Our Accomplishments This Season:
We have performed extremely well this season. We have most recently been ranked 4th in the Eighth Man's Media Rankings, and are currently ranked as the 10th collegiate team in the nation by USQ, with a record of 11-4.
Why we need your help!
Based on our performance during the fall season and the start of the spring season, Tufts Quidditch has been granted the opportunity to travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to participate in the US Quidditch Cup 2022. This national championship is the culmination of a season of hard work, and we hope to go and make a competitive run at nationals (with the goal to win!). We are lucky to receive partial funding from Tufts for this trip, but it is not enough to cover the full cost of the endeavor. This is why we need your help to get to Utah! Travel can be expensive, and the goal of this campaign is to make this trip as little of a financial burden on the 19 attending players as possible. The funds we raise will help cover the costs of flights to and from Utah, as well as hotel rooms, rental cars, and gas while we are there. In order to make this trip as accessible to players as possible, we are looking to subsidize most to all of player costs. Any donation amount is an important step towards our goal.
