Gifts to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice contribute to...
Tufts is committed to a multi-pronged action plan to promote and support diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in our schools. This includes diversifying both the curriculum as well as faculty, staff, and students; encouraging and facilitating conversations about diversity and inclusion across departments and units; training faculty in inclusive teaching strategies; and increasing financial aid and other support for first generation students.
Our resource centers offer students opportunities for events, discussion, and leadership on issues of identity, diversity and inclusion, and social justice. We strive to provide all students a place to go and be heard.
Currently, nine centers support students across the Medford/Somerville and Fenway campuses: the Africana Center, Asian American Center, FIRST Resource Center, Indigenous Center, Latinx Center, LGBT Center, Student Accessibility and Academic Resources (StAAR) Center, Women's Center, and the Center for STEM Diversity. Students of all identities are welcome in each center.
Your gift provides direct support to these centers and helps Tufts work toward its goal of becoming an anti-racist institution. And, by giving your class gets closer to meeting its reunion goals--track the progress on our leaderboards.
