Tufts Climbing Team Diversity Fund

The Tufts Climbing Team has been working hard over the past couple of years to make climbing more accessible to people from any background!  Climbing is an incredibly expensive sport and we are doing our best to meet everyone's demonstrated financial need. Unfortunately, we don't have enough money in our budget to cover financial aid for everyone who requests it, so we hope to raise funds so our local community can help us support diversity in climbing.

With over 100 members, The Tufts Climbing Team has quickly become an integral part of the Tufts community and is the home of climbing at Tufts. We are a team of all skill and experience levels which competes around the country, with events ranging from local contests to national competitions. We are an incredibly close community of fun loving individuals who have decided that all of our time should go towards finding harder ways to go up rocks.

This fund will benefit anyone who wants to try climbing by helping cover expenses such as day passes, shoes, chalk, harnesses, and transportation. It will also help us broaden access to a gear loaning program. The Diversity Fund is meant to be for people who would otherwise never get the chance to climb without it.  All of the Tufts community will have access to this fund as well. Your donation will benefit many people's climbing experience due to the financial barrier being lowered. Your support means the world to us.
