What's all the buzz about the Tufts Pollinator Initiative 🌷🌼🐝?
Launched with a grant from the Sustainability Office, the TPI strives to support urban pollinators through habitat creation and community education. With our initial funding we have:
- Planted 3 pollinator gardens which
- Support 115 species of pollinators and
- Led the way to the Medford-Somerville campus becoming the first urban educational institution in the state to be a Bee-Certified Campus!
Our initial grant is almost depleted, so we are seeking new funding sources. On #TuftsGivingTuesday each dollar you give will be matched, up to $500!
