At the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts, we develop both an entrepreneurial mindset and skillset among our students, alumni, and community members through academic courses, co-curricular programs, and equity-free funding opportunities. We set up our participants for success wherever their careers might take them—a startup, corporation, nonprofit, or government agency.
Our co-curricular programs and funding opportunities are 100% donor-funded. This year, we are raising funds for two programs:
The Entrepreneurial Internship Program: each selected student receives $4,000 for a 10-week unpaid summer internship in an early-stage startup, small business, or nonprofit.
The Entrepreneurial Initiative Fund: a pilot program that covers project and travel expenses for student-led entrepreneurial initiatives.
Your support on #TuftsGivingTuesday helps us expand our quest to offer equitable access to our innovative programming to all Tufts students, especially those who may not initially think they are entrepreneurial. We know, however, that they will come to embrace their own creativity and innovative spirit—and become the next generation of Tufts entrepreneurs.
