Thank you for joining the effort and supporting compassionate, expert animal care.

CHAIR'S CHALLENGE
When 250 people give, Chair of Cummings School’s Board of Advisors, Katie Dolan, A08P, will generously give $20,000.

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT CHALLENGES
Our cause-based challenges highlight the important work happening across our campus. When you give to one of these challenges, your gift also counts toward the Chair’s Challenge—so it has double the impact!

- Veterinary Medical Care Challenge 50 donors secure $10,000 from grateful clients Martin and Linda Haspel
- Tufts Wildlife Clinic Challenge 50 donors secure $10,000 for the clinic from longtime wildlife supporters Bob and Sally Croce
- Travis Fund for Needy Animals Challenge 50 donors secure $10,000 from loyal donors Trudy and John Rahkonen

Looking to give via stock, wire transfer, or donor advised fund but still want to have it count for #TuftsGivingTuesday? We can make that happen! Fill out this form and someone from the #TuftsGivingTuesday team will be in touch.
The Travis Fund Challenge – $10,000 from Trudy and John Rahkonen secured if 50 donors make a gift to this challenge – will support animal care for owners who need financial assistance with their pets’ care at the Tufts Veterinary Medical Center. The Travis Fund was started by Cummings School clients Lauren and Sander Rikleen, in memory of their veterinarian, Dr. Stanley Travis.
"Our pet was in the intensive care unit at the Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals for nearly a month before he died," says Lauren Rikleen. "During our frequent visits, we realized that on numerous occasions, the Foster Hospital is asked to treat animals without compensation. Because of the many occasions on which Dr. Travis willingly treated pets under similar circumstances, we believe the creation of such a fund was a fitting means of honoring his memory. He was a wonderfully compassionate man, and we have seen that same compassion in the veterinary faculty at Tufts."
